Carvers Gap
I agree lilj...I went on a 50 mile ride today. It was nice to finally go for a ride and not freeze! Road seven today. Looks like a warm-up for you!
rduwx
Road seven today. Looks like a warm-up for you! There isn't nothing wrong w/ 7 miles! What type of ride was it? I mean mountain bike, trail ride, or road ride?
EmersonGA
Im already at my forecasted low of 42 tonight with clear skies and no wind. I wonder how that is going to work out. I was 7 degrees below my forecasted low last night too. Looks like someone is hugging the models a little much.
Carvers Gap
There isn't nothing wrong w/ 7 miles! What type of ride was it? I mean mountain bike, trail ride, or road ride? I've got a hybrid Trek. Just started getting into riding a couple of years ago as an alternative to jogging. All paved today...as is most days. It was the first time in almost two months that I didn't have to put on three layers, a hat under my helmet, etc. Still wore gloves. When it gets below 40, the windchill is almost to much to handle for me - especially going down a hill. Now, going up a hill...that's another story altogether. GaWx
Did you move to Savannah? Temporarily. I'll be back in Dunwoody at some point. I still have my place there.

I have a Trek Madone road bike. Like you I just started a couple of years ago to try to get into shape. I had stopped running because of the pounding on my back. I didn't do anything for a while and started to get fat. That's when I took up cycling and have loved it ever since.
Shane
A little OT, But just saw a huge blue green fireball moving eastward toward the horizon. If it was a meteor, it was a big one. Did anybody else see it? S

EmersonGA
35.6 this morning so only a 6 degree bust instead of 7 the night before. FFC improved by one degree. DaculaWeather
great pic eyewall. Well, today is going to be the warmest day we've had in months here. FFC forecasting 65 today and upper 60s tomorrow. I hope to god i don't hit 70 as I'd rather not break the streak of non 70 degree days at least. I hit 69.2 yesterday... close. DaculaWeather
The only way I could run 6 miles right now is if you pushed me down a hill! I keep saying I'm going to start working out again! I have no excuses, I have a Bowflex and a NordicTrac treadmill, I'm just lazy! But it's time to get the extra weight off of I have to start soon!
