sankaty
Folks seem very enthusiastic for snow for most of SNE based on this run, but this frame looks very warm if I'm reading the scale correctly. What am I missing? Thanks.

What am I missing? Thanks. The 0 line in that frame is near Boston. And it stays there a few hours but dynamics indicate it's snow. Surface temps stay cold for the duration. weathafella
Not sure how to read that map sankaty. The higher res maps many of us saw confirm it's mostly snow for most people.

Didn't realize there could be a discrepancy between the Plymouth maps and the hi-res maps. Just another reason why it's so helpful that you all do a play-by-play for each run. Thanks so much! weathafella
OK. Thanks. Not getting hung up on a day 4+ model run anyway. Just curious. Also...it should be noted that many areas above 0C are cold at the surface. Scott (CoastalWx) felt it's mostly snow for most away from the cape. simpsonsbuff
I could really use a nice low over Cape Cod at KLEB. Probably wouldn't hurt if the thing went over BOS. Of course, the overwhelming members of this board would be quite unsatisfied with that solution...
