Exactly...briefly the 0C line goes JUST north of BOS before quickly crashing back. And even then the temp maybe is +0.5 or +1 which can be overcome in precip that heavy. FWIW, someone at the whale game in Springfield asked me what things were looking like for our area in CT and while I hate to throw out numbers this far out I said I could see something like an 8-16'' type event here.
