Ginx snewx
We ignore anything that doesn't suggest a HECS. Look not trying to be an eek hole but they only go out to 87 hours, unless I am wrong, not seeing his OTS etc point.

RobertSul
Hey guys, I know it's still early and everything, but it seems like a lot of people are focused on the moisture involved with this potential blockbuster... any initial ideas on how strong the winds might be? Ginx snewx
12z EC ensemble mean is near/slightly outside of the BM. I am going to need to rent a hall. The party started with two old guys and a Sherpa, now it's an all out block party with ten foot high speakers, a stage, three bars, dancing girls, shots flowing, full throttle saloon style. SHOT HOUR!

Ginx snewx
Just read the entire Donnie Baseball post, Blizz had posted snippets ,seriously thinking this might end up the best winter of everyones life. 50 percent chance Boston sees 30 or more inches in Feb!! alone, holy cold too. Boys will be calling for their Mommas, men will be holding babies under their coats while braving the icy death wind trudging through feet upon feet of snow to save the herd. Classic 1800 s winter. dabize
I gave up for 3 weeks after EUWX folded without a trace, and only found this place when I figured that it HAD to exist - the EUWX cast of characters couldn't possibly survive without it, no matter WHAT had happened to cause the demise of the old site. I then Googled and found it within 3 minutes. The lurkers will be on when the compulsion becomes all-encompassing again, probably by after the Wednesday storm......... CoastalWx
18Z NAM similar to Euro. Very fast flow and embedded s/w's are gonna cause models some trouble me thinks. Look at all the action over the nrn US.

nutmegfriar
If invited to the party at Ginx's, I will gladly tow my El Camino which has been converted into a barbeque. It's loaded with a case of Mazola and game of Twister.

Semper911
You lurkers need to join the party, what say you? Giddy up mo fos giddy up Guilty as charged. I just lurk here because I am not too good at analysis, but I sure learn a lot from all of you. And I love any kind of weather except sunny days (I am from Phoenix -- had enough of those.) Sometimes the personal banter is a little annoying, as is all the weenie talk that degrades to near inappropriateness. I am a middle school teacher and I would really love to turn my students on to this board and have them meet all of you, but it really isn't family friendly sometimes. (You all know what I mean.) But hey, I sure enjoy the opportunity to be here, and I can't thank all of you enough for all the time you spend posting your thoughts, maps, and analysis. We really need to tone down some of the stuff for this reason but otoh.....maybe we have decided it's an adult bb and that's it. I'm ok either way but would like to be more inclusive of youngsters.
