PottercountyWXobserver
Well GFS started out good and ended bleh. Yes it def did, but I think its not done trending, it def come back west, its just a tad more progressive, I honestly believe the NAM and GGEM will continue to show west, lets see what the Euro says
Santa Clause
Could a met or anyone else describe what made the GFS take such an easterly component to it's track later in the time frame.
NortheastPAWx
That new high is just killing us...filtering cold and dry air into the storm, thus cutting off precip to the NW.
MAG5035
Much better. GFS is obv having major issues. They weren't too major this run apparently, The GFS around hour 72-78 is tucking this thing in further northwest than the 12z Euro had it. Looks alot like the NAM at first and then by 102 its looking very close to the 12z Euro with the trajectory from off the VA coast to the benchmark. But still, wow thats a lot more than i expected out of the GFS tonight.

canderson
The precip cutoff on the western side of the GFS is nuts. .75" for Philly and looks like zero for ABE. Looks a lot like the latest Euro. C'mon Euro, go about 50 miles west tonight to make us happy please.
EasternUSWX
When do the GGEM and UKMET come in? GGEM 1145, ukmet around 1230.

PottercountyWXobserver
I think the next runs from the GGEM and Euro are huge and is probably the last decent chance we have of seeing the snow dome takin down for a little while. If the GGEM shows any hint of an eastward track and the Euro doesn't budge we might be in trouble. I like the NAM but do we really trust it in this range? I was just curious, what do the NOGAPS show and JMA?
EasternUSWX
UKMET goes from AL to just east of NJ. So namish.

NortheastPAWx
What does GGEM look like, can't tell by that black and white stuff. SHARP cutoff. Also quite warm. We need this much further west than the GFS just because of the cutoff.
