Oswego Wx
Thought this was a interesting misprint....at least I'm assuming it is. This storm BTW, better get it act in gear...WSW seems out of line here. Overnight: Snow. Low around 21. North wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible. Friday: Snow, mainly before 1pm. High near 31. Light wind becoming west between 12 and 15 mph. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible. Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 8. Wind chill values as low as -50. -50? Really. How about -5? BillB
These forecasts are usually generated via a formatter working off a database. The Apparent Temperature (Wind Chill/Heat Index) grid values are generated from other grid values (temperature, wind, etc.) that have been edited or imported. If any of the hourly grids are bad or null, it will show up as a wild value such as -50 or -80. Unless they were forecasting strong winds, I would suspect a null grid.
