ORH_wxman
The dendrites in this band are absolutely perfect....huge puffy fakes and they are ripping.
40/70 Benchmark
It keeps intensifying over ORH county and the flakes are big...its very intense snow I'm going to make that goal of 8" of snow that I had set.
Damage In Tolland
why are there constantly battles on here to prove and disprove snowfall totals and snowfall forecasts? I have to stick up for myself man..I can't have people gang rape me and not say anything. That being said I've made my point
weatherwiz
Looks like snow has came to and end here so I'll go take the final measurement, don't think I accumulated much since the 9 AM measurement, perhaps I got just enough to get me to 5''. Cold Miser
Because of This looks pretty good overall and for highlighting the best areas. Looks low for my area. I am thinking at least 6" by the time it's over. Nice, big flakes here in Woodstock.
DomNH
Should see one more period of good snow that will put me at 6''. BOX did a good job not wavering with the warnings even after the crappy guidance last night.

40/70 Benchmark
I think this storm might put me over last year's seasonal total. The next one will do that, here.
weatherwiz
4.8'' will be the final.
TheSnowman
Agreed, no way they had that much...maybe 4" I don't know who reported that. I have about 6.5" - 6.75" (will go out and measure soon) right now and I'm in North Cumberland. It was not 6" pre-8am no.
CoastalWx
The next one will do that, here. I think I'll crack 50" for the year. Heavy heavy satisfaction.
dabize
Because of This looks pretty good overall and for highlighting the best areas. Yes, but the maxes are distinctly conservative for E MA (Worc, Essx and Midsx) which look like beating it by 2". Certainly no better than Blizz for here, but in the opposite direction. Better than the old "clown maps" based on the national models though....
DomNH
The next one will do that, here. Really get to appreciate how godawful last year was right now.

HIPPYVALLEY
3.8" will do it here. This is a January for the ages.
weathafella
Final thump should add maybe 2 inches? Should end the day with 8ish.....and BOS should be within an inch of 50 for the season.....already almost 50% above last year's frustrating winter. This winter (as Ray has alluded to) is the antidote of 2009-10 so far. Looks good as far as the eye can see pattern wise.

Mr. Windcredible!
I have to stick up for myself man..I can't have people gang rape me and not say anything. That being said I've made my point Seriously...what planet are you from? The only reason people are ragging on you is because you can't admit you busted. I'm sorry...80% of CT will be <6". Unless your 6-12" was forecasting the max snowfall (which we know isn't true based on your 14-16" lollies), you can't claim victory just because some of the region verified on the low end of your range. You're ignoring half the region and claiming victory based on a few 8-10" reports. I'm sorry...3-6" was a rational call in CT, and even that busted along the shoreline.
