LOL, I just like pointing out he won't take it like a man.

THIS is impressive, didn't even have this for the blizzard I don't think in a single hour:

BOSTON HVY SNOW 27 24 89 N15 29.44F VSB 1/4 WCI 15

BEVERLY HVY SNOW 25 24 96 N10 29.45F VSB 1/4 WCI 15

LAWRENCE HVY SNOW 24 21 88 N8 29.49F VSB 1/4 WCI 15

BEDFORD HVY SNOW 23 21 92 N9 29.45F VSB 1/4 WCI 13

BLUE HILL N/A 24 23 96 N18G25 29.37F WCI 10

NORWOOD HVY SNOW 25 24 96 N6 29.43F VSB 1/4 WCI 18

Coming down at a squall rate in Lowell - heaviest of the storm (that I've seen, anyway).

It'll be 7+ within the hour.

Funny how that event matches this one and we have had folks drop the "PD" bomb with regard to next week....

lol I thought you didnt like that storm much, Ray? At any rate, it would be wonderful if we got some semblance of that (even half that much snow on top of what we have would be great.)

2/7 was the storm with the crazy fluff factor, right?

Yes. Piled up shockingly fast - was a daylight storm that just kept cranking in a BOS-PVD band. Closest we had come to a foot in Boston since 4/97 (seriously). Only to be blown away a week later.

When we are in a groove like this, always worth remembering we went from '97 to '03 without a 12" storm at BOS.

I don't think even 80% of CT geographically will have 6", nevermind RI and almost all of SE MA. Next time play it safe and just go with 4-20" and you'll be 100% right.

:drunk:

Did you read Kevs call, it was 6-12" for most everywhere in SNE aside SE MA and the coastlines.

However, as we have been thinking from the get-go and never wavering one time despite the model discrepancies of the past three days, 4-8" with isolated higher lollies was is and will be the correct call.

4.5 inch total here. Sun coming out now with some lingering flurries. This storm is racing east, and ended about 1 to 2 hours earlier than I thought it would last night. Total seasonal snowfall is probably between 65 and 70 inches, which is quickly closing in on my seasonal average of 75-80 inches. Snowpack is now up to 23 inches. Great winter so far. :snowman:

Nice Mitch, I'm around 75" now after this last little event. Looking forward to next week pushing things up farther. Blue sky and sunny here now.

Simsbury and Granby have reported 6-7", I bet BDL comes in with 6.0"

Just my $.02

Even much of the central part of the state comes in with either 6'' or a tad less...no way I'm getting 6''...I suspect BDL won't either although I'm not sure waht they have now.
