dabize
LOL, I just like pointing out he won't take it like a man. Clinch Leatherwood
14-16" lollies lol Do you have 16" yet? If you can get a good 5" per hour from here on our you're good. Where's Bob? Did he go back to snow?

Kbosch
Wait until the final PNS comes out..and then some math wiz can crunch the numbers..it will be close to that The entire western half of the state will be under 6, so we'll start there. That's a problem.
40/70 Benchmark
2/7 was the storm with the crazy fluff factor, right? Yea. Snow letting up, here.
A-L-E-X
Funny how that event matches this one and we have had folks drop the "PD" bomb with regard to next week.... lol I thought you didnt like that storm much, Ray? At any rate, it would be wonderful if we got some semblance of that (even half that much snow on top of what we have would be great.)
hooralph
2/7 was the storm with the crazy fluff factor, right? Yes. Piled up shockingly fast - was a daylight storm that just kept cranking in a BOS-PVD band. Closest we had come to a foot in Boston since 4/97 (seriously). Only to be blown away a week later. When we are in a groove like this, always worth remembering we went from '97 to '03 without a 12" storm at BOS.

free_man
I don't think even 80% of CT geographically will have 6", nevermind RI and almost all of SE MA. Next time play it safe and just go with 4-20" and you'll be 100% right. Did you read Kevs call, it was 6-12" for most everywhere in SNE aside SE MA and the coastlines. However, as we have been thinking from the get-go and never wavering one time despite the model discrepancies of the past three days, 4-8" with isolated higher lollies was is and will be the correct call. southcentralWC
someone in the Burrillville to Northbridge area probably has over 6". I'm in Northbridge and just measured 6.5" (930a). Dendrites improved markedly around 7a, which really helped to balloon the totals.

weatherwiz
The entire western half of the state will be under 6, so we'll start there. That's a problem. Even much of the central part of the state comes in with either 6'' or a tad less...no way I'm getting 6''...I suspect BDL won't either although I'm not sure waht they have now. Kbosch
Aside from Western Ct and Se Mass most will have 6+ What happened to 80+% of SNE? That went out the window fast. OK, so 80% of eastern CT? Seems more like 30-40% at best. Wow, nice gust of wind there, things are picking up and blowing the snow off trees.

ski MRG
4.5 inch total here. Sun coming out now with some lingering flurries. This storm is racing east, and ended about 1 to 2 hours earlier than I thought it would last night. Total seasonal snowfall is probably between 65 and 70 inches, which is quickly closing in on my seasonal average of 75-80 inches. Snowpack is now up to 23 inches. Great winter so far. Nice Mitch, I'm around 75" now after this last little event. Looking forward to next week pushing things up farther. Blue sky and sunny here now. Kbosch
What? I am saying about 80% of SNE will have 6+ Again 12 and higher lollis was too high You are funny. Poke, deny, repeat. Taking the entire state of CT out of that "80%" sure makes things fun to calculate. Maybe 80% of a couple counties in Mass.
