CoastalWx
Its trying to hang back here...you can see on radar...huge flakes...and easily 1/2 SN and maybe borderline 1/4 SN+....and you know I don't fake those obs Well I question your reports sometimes. J/K. It has been mdt-hvy for a while, but it's legit S+ now here.

I'm getting the N edges of your banding right now, pouring dendrites.
HIPPYVALLEY
2.5" I'll be ecstatic if I can hit 4" Just about done here and I'm at 3.6" so good luck. I wasn't expecting more than 4" so no complaints here. Certainly has made the plow banks a lot prettier than the mangled ice chunks from tuesday. snowman21
How'd coastal CT do today? Any obs? About 4.5-5 here in Greenwich, around 3 in Old Lyme as of an hour ago.
CoastalWx
Oh yeah they'll have 4". Their 12z measurement was 3.8" I'm pissed because I thought about going 3-6, but figured they could cash in, even if only 0.4" qpf.

weatherwiz
How'd coastal CT do today? Any obs? Think mainly 3-5'' in the SW part of the state...not sure about anywhere else but SE CT got into some good echoes so I would think some spots there are in the 3-5'' range as well. Hambone
E ORH county is getting killed...someone just east of me is going to come in with a 8-9" spot. East and south of you ~15 miles, and it is absolutely ripping here now. Big flakes less than 1/4 mile visability. I've been out on my tractor (500' driveway)so I haven't measured, but we're in the 6" range already.
Baroclinic Zone
Are you east or west of 24? I'm told it's changed in Lakeville, lightened and went to snizzle. So it's possible what we're seeing on radar is the edge on radar, but it's actually just east? I am about 1mi E of 24 and about 1/2m N of Rt 140. edit, if there was sleet, it was brief 5-10 min tops. leesun
Your good. I have 5.2" and it's tapering off now. That should be my storm total. Getting excited about next week now! I went 4-8 for BDL. Hope they had 4". That may be my worst spot.
OKpowdah
In the end, QPF was fine, but ratios were well overforecasted outside of the heavier banding. I have no better than 10:1 ratios here without any doubt.

Clinch Leatherwood
A touch over 4.5" here in West Hartford. Snow winding down. Most places will come in on the low end of my conservative 4"-8" forecast. 3"-6" probably would have been a better forecast. Warning criteria won't be met virtually anywhere in CT AWT. below AWT!!!!! I measured just a touch over 4'' at 8:00 AM...was going to measure again at 9:00 but 4.5'' sounds good. below. You guys need to look beyond the models. 3-6/4-8 was the wise call regionwide with some potential locally higher amounts...excluding SE where the cape would get virtually nothing, dusting to 2", 1" around the canal building NW. Rain/snow line got up Rte 3 to about Kingston, west to somewhere just east of Bob and then down to Newport. Minus the reverends regionwide 6-12 and 3-5 down here I think everyone was in unanimous agreement (oh and I guess Joe L via text). Pretty much the second a warning goes up for south Plymouth get your umbrella or sunglasses down here.

Damage In Tolland
All in all happy with my 6-12..12 was too high and 5-10 would have been better..but considering some of the non mets in the SE Mass area that were calling for 1-3 or 3-5 for all of SNE well.. enough said
