Its trying to hang back here...you can see on radar...huge flakes...and easily 1/2 SN and maybe borderline 1/4 SN+....and you know I don't fake those obs

You may be more excited today than in the blizzard last Wednesday . I'm getting the N edges of your banding right now, pouring dendrites.

E ORH county is getting killed...someone just east of me is going to come in with a 8-9" spot.

East and south of you ~15 miles, and it is absolutely ripping here now. Big flakes less than 1/4 mile visability. I've been out on my tractor (500' driveway)so I haven't measured, but we're in the 6" range already.

A touch over 4.5" here in West Hartford. Snow winding down.

Most places will come in on the low end of my conservative 4"-8" forecast.

3"-6" probably would have been a better forecast.

Warning criteria won't be met virtually anywhere in CT AWT.

AWT!!!!!

I measured just a touch over 4'' at 8:00 AM...was going to measure again at 9:00 but 4.5'' sounds good.

below.

You guys need to look beyond the models.

3-6/4-8 was the wise call regionwide with some potential locally higher amounts...excluding SE where the cape would get virtually nothing, dusting to 2", 1" around the canal building NW. Rain/snow line got up Rte 3 to about Kingston, west to somewhere just east of Bob and then down to Newport. Minus the reverends regionwide 6-12 and 3-5 down here I think everyone was in unanimous agreement (oh and I guess Joe L via text).

Pretty much the second a warning goes up for south Plymouth get your umbrella or sunglasses down here.
