ROOSTA
Streets any narrower not good. This past week I have seen more head-on crashes in all the other years combined. In urban areas I don't understand why people park on streets. Traffic jams galore. I don't like the idea of shoveling up, way up, Back can't take anymore. No masse. no masse. The little kid inside still wins out in the end. It gon snow again and again...Bring it!
ConvectiveSolutions
SO cool to just watch this and see all the different players that come into play with storms! http://moe.met.fsu.e...&hour=Animation
Clinch Leatherwood
Always interesting to me anyway to see how the on hour RUC's compare to the NAM. 0z RUC likes the warmth, and some dry. 0z RUC followed the HRRR north with the temps... Clinch Leatherwood
Absurd solution Scott. RUC beyond 6 is living up to it's ****tiness. Just posting for history. All as attachments per request/good point by Ginx so we don't lose the paper trail later down the road. NAM adjusted at 0z for the errors and is cooking up something new right now. It's like having dinner with my mother...can cook the same thing with the same ingredients 5 nights in a row and it never turns out the same. The PA s/w looks like absolute as( through 9 hours. (disclaimer compared to the 18z/12z NAM and only through 9h for the touchy bunch)
weathafella
NAM 12 hours on target. Looks like it wants to bomb the low just beyond 12Z.

MaineJayhawk
I love this system for your area. Nice fluff factor up there. GYX mentioned 15:1 to 20:1 ratios. Light, light fluff.

weathafella
I was following it loosely when I was in FL and it seems to me, NAM hasn't had a consistent solution in a long time...

Clinch Leatherwood
NAM shifted se by a decent bit. AWT? 996 appears to run pretty much over ACK at 15Z. Yeah, followed the earlier RUC's east. Then the RUC went west? It's a big chop east....I'd say toss it pending the others. But yet again, a new run a new solution from the favorite son. The s/w looks like balls through 6-9 hours, it's a total POS (sheared dogmess s/w) and unless it's backed up it's possible this is just the NAM doing it's usual. BUT disaster if not. MaineJayhawk
NAM looking good for coastal ME. Bath or Rockland on up is going to get plastered. JEB might have some nice pics bayside.
ORH_wxman
Not impressed with the NAM rh field...it would suggest a lot of holes in the precip...or lighter areas. Hopefully its wrong, but its a bit of a red flag.
CoastalWx
Trough dug just a hair more than 18z. It's weird...it developed further se, but then got pulled north. It looks like the trough is a bit flatter at first and that srn stream vorticity is weaker.

ski MRG
Awfully quiet in here Just did a quick trip into the OT section and found myself sticking up for Cheetah. Man, some of the guys in there really hate him. Seems like a decent bloke to me. Better to stay in here with family.lol
OSUmetstud
It's def disorganized. It almost dryslots us by 15z. it spreads the vorticity everywhere leading to a garbage result even though the northern stream digs more and there's actually more ridging to the east of New England.
