You've had a tough couple of winters forecasting. Hope you can get things back on track for the 2nd half

His skepticism for his back yard and extreme SE New England has been warranted. If you look at the radar presentation right now it looks the same as it has for the other big storms this year. These Nantucket tracks aren't working out for us in the far SE regions. But with this event Newport picked up upwards of 4 inches and it's still below freezing so for me it could've been worse. We had sleet for an hour, nothing now...hopefully it'll end as a burst of snow if that band along the CT shoreline survives the trek east.

Glad you you got some good snows down there this time

Visibility down to 2 miles!! I went outside to shovel and got completely disoriented. In the 20 minutes I was outside, we already picked up another trace! It's impossible to keep up with this storm. A strong 1mph breeze blew a multi-crystalline structure into my eye! Very dangerous situation.

man...don't see people get criticized for deflating totals much :lmao:

admittedly I measured right outside the front door without stepping a foot outside, so it could be slightly low. but I still don't see how we have more than 2". See the attached pic.

Ginx said we'll be ripping again soon...I don't think we ever ripped in the first place.

Deflation of snow totals usually isn't a problem. I think you know I was kidding, your measuring and photos were above reproach.

:lmao:

The 2nd poster always shows up on cue. Maybe the new guy has a camera/snowboard/ruler and can take a bunch of zoomed out photos?

It's not that the forecasts are bad, it's just that I don't measure like you.

You've had a tougher time with the past few storms. Glad to hear you're doing well with this one! :)

SShhh..Messenger doesn't believe us..it's just flurries

Within the next 5 minutes both of you go take pictures from the street (it's cold and dark) with rulers stuck in the snow in a bunch of different spots, or on top of cleaned off cars and I'll believe you and will even buy you all the beer you can drink at the next GTG (so 3 beers)... ;)

He's not a new guy. He was on Eastern under a different name..longer than you I might add.

I don't know him..never met him..do know what street he lives on though. Now that we have 2 posters in town the childish snow infaltion accusations that you toss around at people seem rather ill advised no?
