noctilucent
I have 0.2" in Willow Grove and it just now changed to sleet. Light drizzle here... You're doing better than I am. I have a non-measurable coating. Temp is 35.9. My Southeast-facing low-lying area is killing me again. Facing right into the breeze bringing in the warmer air. Still a very nice surprise. noctilucent
There are years where November snows have worked for us, such as 1995. But more often, they foreshadow below normal snowfall, such as 1987 and as you mentioned 1989. We had some snow in Nov 1995. That was a great winter (95-96). But overall, I agree with your assessment.
LVblizzard
Nothing here, just rain. Hopefully the lake effect snow tomorrow night makes up for it. I'm in Painesville, OH btw (about 30 miles NE of Cleveland)
chrisNJ
about a 1/2 inch here on decks and the grass. still am amazed.
RutgersWx92
Light snow here in Bridgewater with a light dusting on some surfaces. It was coming down at quite a good clip a few minutes ago.
Grothar
Well... in the winter of 1989-1990, many places had their biggest snowfall of the winter in November well almost 2 inches on the grass in Macungie. Has turned over to sleet. Cannot wait for the pearl harbor anomaly to kick in next week. http://msiegelweatherman.blogspot.com/

ParanormalWx
Snowing nicely here. 36.3F Looks like sleet will be next within 20-30 according to radar. Sometimes it's nice to be wrong. Just starting to change to sleet. 1" on the grass. Nice surprise!
RutgersWx92
Now switched over a sleet/rain mix here, which will probably change to all rain pretty soon. The snow was still nice to look at while it lasted and certainly a nice surprise.
noctilucent
Well, its all rain here now. Didn't look measurable until I went over to the shady side of the house (yeah, I know what your going to say)..I mean the side of the house not exposed to solar radiation...to take out the trash and there was a little over .1" on the trash can lid. So...do I count it or not?

_AR_
Was mostly snow until I'd say about 1 hour ago. Changed to a mixed bag and now mostly sleet. Rain slowly mixing in I suppose. From what NWS has said it may change over again later tonight? Nice to see the ground white though.
Rainshadow
So Quakertown got snow. I slept through our 15 minutes of fame this morning. Score one for the wrf-nmm on this one, it had more of the isothermal at 32F fcst sounding than the gfs and somewhat the euro. The latter were too top heavy with the warm air advecting in above 850mb.
