Radiational cooling at its best (already)!

LGA is 20 degrees warmer at 47! That place is legendary.

I agree, too bad it doesn't help when it comes to storms (most times ). We're running much colder than last night, so it'll be interesting to see just how low it gets. Looking around at other area temps in South Jersey, MJX is down to 27, MIV 28, and a sensor a couple miles away from me, 26.2. My thermometer is now reading 26.9.

Just 6 or so miles away at ACY airport, it was 35 at 7PM.

That's true, it doesn't help for storms; but where it does help is in borderline situations. If I have a full night in the 20's it will allow for the ground to get nice and cold and mitigate any accumulating issues the area might have when the temps do rise before a storm. But if I am sitting in the mid and upper 30's all night, the ground may not have even reached that air temperature yet when the precip arrives, cutting into your potential totals.

I am at 39.7 degrees and I am 3 mies east of LGA, which is at 47. That's insane.
