Lehigh Valley to Reading to Southern Poconos to NW NJ ...obs and banter!

Think PHL is going to be cutting it close by keeping us in a WWA, already a solid 2" on the ground and only need another 4" to reach WSW criteria. Think the expected gradient across the county is causing them grief. Looking at radar and RUC trends I think a 6"-10" is a solid bet here which would meet WSW criteria. NWS probably need to break warnings into sub-county areas.

It is going to be close for us. I think RDG to ABE to 12N S&E are in good shape. NW of there the drop off may become problematic. Just a matter of how far NW and how sharp. Radar is currently very encourage for the line I described you and I included.

Well, fyi - here in Easton, its 31F with freezing drizzle/pellets. That R/S line is getting awfully close to the LV.

The radar is about to fill in over our area. Once the heavier echoes move in, I doubt it will be anything but snow. Damn, the new RUC has heavy snow here from 7-11 pm.
