I agree with those in here saying about the NW fringe of this. Just from an eyeball I'd day 50 or so miles further north and east. Tonights second round is going to be something to watch for a lot of us. Can't believe I have about 3-4" here already.

A quick request to those of you posting Obs & totals, could you please specify location in your post. (Many of us view the forum on mobile devices that don't display sigs, etc.). Thanks. And keep posting!

Btw.

Bangor, Pa

Received about 1.5" from phase 1. With 2" on the Blue Ridge straddling the Monroe/Northampton County border.

And just a coating here in NW NJ which is melting anyways. lol Will definitely be a close call Reading to Allentown to Sparta this evening.

Since it's now-wish-casting time, would a 35 mile jog NW Be too much to ask?

Light snow redrafting in northern Northampton County.

In this winter it seems the answer would be yes. lol I would not give up all hope just yet but also keep those expections tempered. In the PHI thread the latest image of the HRRR model sim radar image and snow output was posted. That is something to perhaps pin your hopes on but again keep those expectations tempered.

HRRR with 10" around philly and almost nothing north of I78. Try right clicking the words "Posted Image" (if that's what you see) and click View Image.

how the hell can we believe any model at this juncture? They have been all wrong. There are no excuses. I spent days watching this storm in the models only to see no model be right. Time to watch the radars and see what falls. The radars indicate way west for snowfall and I hope it continues
