dryslot
5-8 mby seems like a safe call now, with heavy heavy emphasis on the 8 part. Excellent set of runs since 00z. Yes, I would opt for the 8", Verbatium on the euro we are probably more around the .60" range we are not far from the .75", But i can't see that fine.........lol

cpickett79
I'll prob go to sleep around 8:00 and up around 2:00 again that's actually a great idea for me tonite. this am at work i was thinking .....man i'm not gonna be able to watch the snow falling...(will be working 6-12 am).....this will be "no good" for me. so perhaps going to bed when i'm off work this evening.....and waking up at 2 will be the plan. so long as there are a few weenies on here at 3am. Clinch Leatherwood
Well, some of us like to derive a sense of personal enrichmment by participating in and thus honing are skills in activities that interest us; funny you ski, yet you have no intetnion of entering the professional pool. It's called a hobby, slick. More melodrama here lately than a group of tenth grade girls.

Were you on here when the Jan 12 storm started? I think we had over 100 people online at like 3am when it was really starting to rip, lol. This obviously isn't a storm of the same magnitude, but I'm sure there will be plenty of people on following it.

This seems like the pretty standard, 5-8'' commute crusher that we are all so accustomed to.

Or should we not even look At them and now cast? What do you think of the 12" in St. Louis?

BTW will do you see St. louis getting 10 as a red flag.....not asking you to say nam is right....but do you see signs (down stream) where qpf might go more robust than euro modeled...i.e be more in the neighbor hood of .6 to. 75 for a chunk of say E MA? zoe456
I'm loving the recent model trends and especially the recent maps that put me in the 8-12+ range here in coastal Cumberland County, Maine. Definitely a work from home day... Any ideas about when the storm would wind down in this part of Maine? 12-2pm on Friday?
simpsonsbuff
Well, where are you located? I'm mobile. KLEB. I'm pretty sure I'm in 1-3. I was just talking generally due to my unfamiliarity with the region. Overall, the map seems like it has a good chance of verifying though . weatherMA
3-6" call from 6 hours ago has been ed up to 6-10". I like where Im at for this storm. I want to be up for some of the heaviest stuff but I cant get up at 2am again lol so maybe I'll get up at 5 or something depending on the timing (assuming no school here). Anyone think a WSW will go up later? Advisory right now says 4-6" with a 5-8" band. Seems a little low with ratios. I think even the Euro would give me 7-8". TalcottWx
Def 3-6 2-4 is probably more likely to verify there. I'd say 6-7" for Standish

OT a teacher i spoke with was saying there are finals at her school tommorrow so she doesn't think they will cancel as easily....i wonder how much a part that plays?
