Flake size has improved here again, as it kind of alternates between fine and decent dendrites. Probably eyeballing a little over an inch...though we'll be lucky to see 2" when all is said and done. Still pretty amazed and happy at the amounts coming out of the STL area :)

Thus far it appears the heavier snow bands are staying to our south in the area between I-70 and the Ohio River. None the less, I still think my 3" call will hold up.

we're good http://radar.weather.gov/radar.php?rid=ILN&product=NCR&overlay=11101111&loop=yes heavier stuff building in dayton and north. That's the name of the game with this one. not just a matter of what transverses west to east, it's also what intensifies and where.

We should be able to hit 2". We have a little ways to go yet.
