RevWarReenactor
Cool, 3.5 it is..we apparently mixed with/changed to rain for 2 minutes this morning according to a few reports..lucked out though compared to places just south of us and it didnt seem to hurt our over all snowfall total much at all .the rain/snow line backed in more northwest than i thought it would... We got screwed in Central/southern Monmouth County. We picked up maybe 1-2 inches and it went to rain for about 2 hours. All the new snow melted. We picked up a dusting on the back end. What a crappy storm just 15 miles to your south. You did luck out.
Chris L
4 to 5" fell here: (4.3" at EWR), 5.2" at West Orange. Very very nice outside!

MJO812
Was there any mixing issues in Brooklyn? Brooklyn got the lowest amount out of the 5 boroughs.

ag3
For those sleeping, A warm tongue pushed into Southern NYC and LI. It still stayed mostly snow but it was a wet, non-accumulating type snow. Thats why these areas were 2"-3", instead of 4"-5"

Eastern LI and southern Monmouth perhaps not.

A-L-E-X
Was there any mixing issues in Brooklyn? Brooklyn got the lowest amount out of the 5 boroughs. I dont think there was mixing there but there was a really weird situation which set up-- ask Ben about it. JFK was at 31 while SW Brooklyn was at 34 degrees-- UHI might have played a part. A-L-E-X
It affected Southern Brooklyn and Southern Nassau more. Im like 2 miles north of Long Beach in SW Nassau-- JM also recorded about 4.5 inches in Long Beach.... maybe it affected SE Nassau more, which was closer to the nose of warm air. A-L-E-X
We were worried about a changeover to rain, but thankfully it never mixed or changed over here because the winds switched to NE around 4 AM.

Ridingtime
I liked this storm because of its simplicity. It made everywhere white again, and kept this amazing winter even more alive. All eyes are now on next week...

Nikolai
There is snow here in Manhattan. On the ground. It is black. Columbus Circle is still pretty... on 60th/9th now and looks like 4.2" in the park was accurate. The park had 1" snowcover yesterday btw so the streak since 12/27 continues!
