A-L-E-X Posted January 21, 2011 Share Posted January 21, 2011 I just posted on FB on how severe this winter has been..with snowcover, cold and storms in a strong La Nina..I'm sure tons of research will be done when it's finished to find out why And some much needed analyses of the winters of old that seemed to be like this with regularity. In April 1996 and again in 2003 it was a different world, with us approaching mid winter conditions while it was just another ladeda day in NYC. How about 20" or more in December and 15" or more in January? 20-20 has never occurred....20-15 I think has and 15-20 has occurred many times...03-04 was very close but of course we got crapped on with a horrible pattern in February.
