A-L-E-X
I can confirm no rain here but those temps are stubborn stuck at 33.4 snow is accumulating on all surfaces regardless. Plows plowing every 10 minutes on my street ...again outcome of the December debacle. What's your location?
A-L-E-X
Wow. Winds are definitely NE/NNE here. Ambrose Light isn't even 12 miles offshore from here I think. Almost due south, just SSW. I wonder what the SST are? Last I heard they were close to 35.

RU848789
Closing in on 2" here in Metuchen; 31F. Snow is coming down close to heavily (not quite 12/26/10 rates but at least 1" per hour rates) and it's a fairly wet snow, sticking nicely to everything, making for a gorgeous scene. Guesstimating maybe 2 more hours of decent snowfall rates, which would put me over 3" (verifying the NWS forecast) and perhaps close to 4". Looks like the snow rain line will only get to Monmouth/Burlington Counties, so I think we're safe, especially as the line is moving SE in the Philly/Trenton area. Time for a few hours of sleep... jm1220
Really coming down now..still good ratios with small fine flakes.....poor visibilities. Small fine flakes are probably 10:1 kind of ratios. You want to see dendrites and larger flakes before you know you're seeing high ratio snow.
