am19psu
ampsu19, that storm vista map is free. Its available on the internet via google, not sure why you removed it. Doesnt require a password or subscription, its a free model site. And I posted Eeh 168 hour map, not the 144 which is an apps runner. Yup. You're right. It's already been restored. Thunder Road
kind-of OT, but is anyone saving these images of the ECM, ECM ens, NOGAPS, DGEX....? If next week's event actually becomes a significant storm, it would be neat to look back at actual images from before the storm instead of auto-updated model maps. Alright I g2g knock on wood now... Noreaster07
00z GFS looking mighty different 1012 low just south of panhandle FL, vs 18z run 1020 well off NC coast
earthlight
GFS has the energy consolidated and is much stronger with the coastal low..looks to be coming up the coast. The H5 low is closed off in SE at 120. The high pressure position is a bit concerning and it might draw in warmer air.
tombo82685
00z GFS looking mighty different 1012 low just south of panhandle FL, vs 18z run 1020 well off NC coast this run may get ugly i have a feeling. Looks kind of like the jma...high retreating and the trof is negatively tilted.
earthlight
Epic low off the southeast coast at 132..but it's going to be ugly with warm air.
IsentropicLift
This run looks much more amplified, I think the end result will be much better than 18z.
earthlight
What an odd run. There's very little precip in the cold sector of the storm.

Radders
lol at the GFS at 150... That is one intense low pressure system.. I would take it though, thinking selfishly since I am in a prime spot to get crushed with that track!

earthlight
Haha but you forgot to mention its all rain. NW NJ doesn't go above freezing at the surface or at 850...which is all I can see now.
IsentropicLift
I stated after the 12z EC that this storm had the potential to be historic and was heavily criticized, funny how attitudes change when the GFS jumps on board with the euro. Looks like we either end up with a snowcane or a hurricane.

But oh well, that kind of storm 7 days out, I will take where we are now. Looks beautiful. Shouldn't worry about the 850's this far out. We have an awesome high.
