HIPPYVALLEY
And we've flipped over to IP/Rain right around 1pm almost exactly as forecasted. Very well forecasted by BOX here. Yup, their snowfall map for W. Ma. was right on also. 21/18 All reports are that roads around here are a disaster.
HIPPYVALLEY
Warmth is making progress. Wow, look at the Valley, much colder than parts of the Berks.
cpickett79
now since i just got home from work.....what is the FRZ rain threat area. are we looking at a quick transition from sleet to FZR? temps still below 20. this could get bad unless it warms rather quickly. Clinch Leatherwood
It's only 36 here, not like anyone is going to torch.
Kbosch
Wow, look at the Valley, much colder than parts of the Berks. Yes - it is fighting valiantly but losing ground a bit more quickly now. The roads are still bad here from our ZR, I can't imagine central CT is much fun right now.

ski MRG
Yup, their snowfall map for W. Ma. was right on also. 21/18 All reports are that roads around here are a disaster. Not true. just got in from a trip to Northampton. Roads had a little snow on them but in fine shape. Downtown NoHo was a bit of a mess but for some reason they always seem a bit clueless. The Hilltowns haven't missed a beat. Also Box's forecast was right on for here, called for 6.9" here and I have recieved 6.75".

Deathofthebambino
Massive flakes, and a whole lot of them, in North Andover at the moment. Looks like we'll be getting into the bands showing up on radar now. When do folks think we'll start seeing a changeover up on the NH line?

I always shoot up earlier here in these type of storms than Worcester and the surrounding towns. Im not sure why, my theory is Im on a high spot and theres nothing to stop it to my south, not sure if thats correct.
