moneypitmike
It's not a mist, it's mostly light to occasionally moderate rain. Obviously it'll be very slick on any pavement, sure, but this won't be a nightmare. I wouldn't want to drive in it but it does not look like there will be mass tree damage or power outages. It's not a mist--it's a freakin' dry slot. lol
Damage In Tolland
Look at the position of the sfc low...the low is also scooting off to the north and east, the majority of the bands and heaviest precip will miss CT...we will still see periods of sleet/freezing rain but for the most part we will see nothing of significance here in CT. RI/E MA still in game for more snow and possible ice accumulations but for us here in CT...write the check. Maybe west of the river..east of the river plenty
Kbosch
It's not a mist--it's a freakin' dry slot. lol LOL I mean for the stuff that is coming since I'm in it right now. It is about exactly as depicted on radar, light with an occasional moderate burst.

moneypitmike
Could be if it remains icy. Not much happening today at BDL for sure. Interestly, while there's a ton of cancellations, all the USAIR flights (i'm flying them) are still listed as "scheduled".

Important thing to remember across the area - budgets were already low going into the fall/winter, and after all the snow we've had towns/cities are doing the bare minimum or nothing today. Accidents nonstop in CT right now.
