I think a lot will start to flip in the next hour or so. http://radar.weather.gov/radar.php?product=N0R&rid=box&loop=yes

Clinch Leatherwood
Yup, pretty large flakes too. It's actually raining to your NNW somehow. Just spoke with someone that I trust, still some snow mixed in but it was predominately sleet/rain. Kind of looks similar at Gillete right now too http://instacam.com/InstaCAM/imagelist_by_week.asp?id=FXBRG&DateString=01182011&Rerun=Rerun&Views=

hammerz_nailz
Wonderful. Can't wait for all of that extra weight on my roof with the all of that rain on top of the snow. Should be extra lovely when the whole mess freezes up again. Thought I'd see more people trying to remove some of the snow from their roofs. Hopefully we won't get too much rain. 32.2 here
CoastalWx
Scooter what caused the warming in SE CT yet the areas in Eastern mass that typically warm haven't as of yet? 28.1 with freezing rain nice coating of ice on everything..including the windows of the house lol High pressure ridging is keeping eastern areas cold. Nice ageostrophic drainage going on in those areas, but they often times see this. The primary push of warmer air is to the sw both at the surface and aloft. It's still much colder over eastern areas just above the surface, but that will change.
