Kmlwx
Agree. I would like the GFS to come back west to its 12z run Agree with Yoda who agrees with Ian. For good measure I hope it comes back to its 12z run as well.
Ian
Agree. I would like the GFS to come back west to its 12z run i feel better about this thing than i have for most (or all) of the time tracking it. if the gfs is way east i might take my building jump tho. usedtobe
The 500h looks better so it's not a disaster run. I agree with Will that the surface looks a little disconnected from the vort, maybe because of latent heat release from its convective scheme but it could still be right as the model is consistent with itself. Wonderdog
A definite improvement from the off-run. It's really close to being something we can all live with. Hope the EURO maintains its consistency.

Ginger Wood
It is just barely not threading the needle, basically. Phineas, you have the most delightfully optimistic way of putting things. Hopefully, you know how much your comments add to all of the threads. I don't mean to leave out our other informative and entertaining posters, though. Our forum is so lucky to have the very best posters!
PhineasC
Apparently Midlo likes you because he erased most of it Midlo's my boy because I have always defended his right to blow ice pellets into a huge mound in his front yard.

Ian
500 is backing in a similar way to the nam compared to the previous run so i'd say it ends up closer at least
WinterWxLuvr
gfs is slightly norther and wetter thru 42 Probably due to my lack of understanding, but looking at those 500 maps, I don't see how this could miss us to the south.

BethesdaWX
Ugh... the nam may be onto something... I just don't like the synoptics of this run at all. GFS with lower Reso hinting at the elongated low.
WinterWxLuvr
I'm only looking at 500, but it sure looks better.
