Organizing Low
Per PSU QPF maps, best snows on the GGEM from a PIT-ROC-YOW. Not very encouraging when your most favorable model shows you getting fringed. well the GGEM is always underdone on the NW side since its low res but its not worth analyzing too much at this time anyways given the spread
dmc76
This actually might do the trick... Yeah right and theres a tooth ferry

Stevo6899
Is this a Miller b or a hybrid Miller a that could go inland?
The_Global_Warmer
GEM, can be a prefered model but it sucks, so does the nam which has snow for me. unfortunitely the GFS is dry too,and the euro is semi-dry. either way, I can't ever image the gem being prefered or whatever, it's verification is probably 5 percent lower then the KIng and 2-4 then the GFS.. The only thing positive you can say about it is that it's probably a little better than the 0z GGEM.

snowstormcanuck
Well, you can put 3, maybe 4 of the GFS ensemble members in the "interesting" category.

snowstormcanuck
low takes shape in central MS....heads to Raleigh NC....then bombs over LI probably too far east for OH....best snows would be W and C PA So it's a bit east of the GGEM. In fact, it sounds like it's even east of the 0z UKIE.
buckeye
at this point we can almost eliminate this just east of the apps track based solely on the fact that models have yet to lock on the correct solution in this timeframe. lol

Harry
Ever happen/possible for it to negative tilt and retrograde a little westward instead of moving NE like the models show? Yes. It is possible and has happened. These however are truely the rare beasts when it has happened.
