buckeye
the gaps goes way east. But very different look then the gfs. It actually digs the trough way down to the gulf but it doesn't go neg in time...so far east it misses most of the coast.
Organizing Low
This run of the GFS should be brought out back and shot.

snowstormcanuck
at 96 looks like the ggem gonna go boom....maybe further west than last nite GGem crapped the bed with yesterday's storm and might be suffering from the same thing with this one, assuming it overamplifies/phases the storm. buckeye
yup....still no 108....but looking at contours and trough...looks like it might be significantly west
Harry
This run of the GFS should be brought out back and shot. Bet you were thinking what i was when you saw it close off out this way. Not gonna complain though with that. Better then nocraps.

Better then nocraps. At 108 I counted 4 s/ws, including the primary one, that might affect how this storm develops. Too many details for the models to handle with much accuracy this far out...BUT...considering the way this season's gone, I'd put my money on the solution that keeps the big storm away from us. buckeye
ggem 120 1004 low over savannah GA.... trough might negative tilt but the 5h might close off too
Harry
story of the 12z so far....NO CONCENSUS>>>EVERYTHING ON TABLE Pretty much. GGEM appears to ride the east side of the apps BUT inland vs the coast. Baby steps.
snowstormcanuck
yup....still no 108....but looking at contours and trough...looks like it might be significantly west 120 sfc low over SE GA, which usually isn't good, but the trough is going neg tilt so there's still a chance. snowstormcanuck
972 N of KALB at 144. Inland runner. Best stuff is probably just east of buckeye and I but it'd be close. Maybe for the first time this winter the EURO will come in with good news.

snowstormcanuck
Per PSU QPF maps, best snows on the GGEM from a PIT-ROC-YOW. Not very encouraging when your most favorable model shows you getting fringed.
