Baroclinic Zone
Its actually near freezing over the interior on that map at 12z...enough ageostrophic northerly tug with the bagginess southeast of the primary. But eventually even the interior would warm up for a time before the cold front moves through. As we thought. I am not discounting any brief frozen precip for the interior SN/IP/ZR but it all eventually goes over to all RA. I'm pretty steadfast that nobody in SNE will see any advisory level SN's. There maybe some hazards put up for icing but that's all. Kevin can chuck 'em high and low all he wants and put a spin on it but it's NBD.
nzucker
Looks like an all out intergalacticplanetary mega torchathon next week, big time + montly departures by next wed. 6z GFS was a torch with multiple cutters and a terrible Pacific in the LR...12z rolling in now. Amazing how we could end November well above average after starting out 7F below average for the entire first week.
cpickett79
12z gfs has low much stronger 984 mb over superior vs 1000 on 0z.... and occluding later and thus further east. lets see if that's a blip. anyone taking this AT day 6 as a friday torch is smoking the good stuff.......in this pattern ....day 4. and then see if any trend sticks beyond

OKpowdah
GFS is looking more like some of the previous Euro runs with a weaker more strung out low east of Newfoundland. This allows the disturbance moving into the Great Lakes to amplify quicker and pump up ridging over New England.
