Yeah he did a great job with this setup to be sure. His comparison to the Jan event was dead on.

That cell south of Dekalb still looks very interesting. Has had a pronounced hook on it for quite some time now.

MESOSCALE DISCUSSION 2064

NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK

0333 PM CST MON NOV 22 2010

AREAS AFFECTED...SERN WI

CONCERNING...TORNADO WATCH 745...

VALID 222133Z - 222230Z

THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR TORNADO WATCH 745 CONTINUES.

TORNADO THREAT WILL CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT FEW HOURS ACROSS SERN

WI...INCLUDING THE SERN-MOST COUNTIES OF WI INTO THE S-SIDE OF THE

MILWAUKEE METRO WHERE A LOCALLY MAXIMIZED TORNADO THREAT MAY EXIST

FOR THE NEXT HOUR OR SO.

SURFACE MESOANALYSIS PLACES A 1000 MB LOW INVOF MSN WITH A WARM

FRONT RETREATING NWD THROUGH THE MKE METRO AREA. A BROKEN LINE OF

SUPERCELLS HAVE MOVED OFF THE COLD FRONT THAT EXTENDS FROM THE

SURFACE LOW SWD TO THE IA/IL/MO BORDER. AN INFLUX OF RICHER LOW

LEVEL MOISTURE CHARACTERIZED BY UPPER 50S - 60 DEG F DEWPOINTS HAS

CONTRIBUTED TO A WEAKLY UNSTABLE /500 J/KG MLCAPE/ AIRMASS IN THE

WARM SECTOR. THIS IS FAVORABLY JUXTAPOSED WITHIN A VERY FAVORABLE

LOW LEVEL SHEAR ENVIRONMENT /500 MS/S2 0-3 KM SRH PER MKX VAD/ AND

MAY POTENTIALLY SUPPORT A TORNADO OR TWO.

Well I was wrong, I didn't think there would be any tornadoes of this significance.

Stebo and I were curious as last night the models had 53F at DTW at midnight and we were at 61....and figured same was true in the ORD area....arrrgghh....wish I wasn't at metro right now....not sure if it's from today but went to WGN to see if they were streaming....and they aren't....but had a nice pic on their page.
