mitchnick
storm is over by 12Z Fri on GFS and goes to around 10AM on NAM, which is one of the reasons for the discrepency I think GFS is right and that baby keeps booking along NAM had BOS and much of SNE with well over an inch of qpf for today's event and they were closer to half that amount

Consistency is getting there... now how 'bout them temps?

usedtobe
Likely. I think you are infecting me with whatever pessimistic juju you have The nam looks overdone to me, the gfs looks more reasonable in terms of qpf. I'm not sure about temps but the slower development probably is helping with temps. Most sref membrs seem to be more in line with the gfs amounts but most are warmer. Bob Chill
Nice solution and hard to complain. GFS has been pretty tight lately. 0Z NAM just a few hours away and I'm not worried about staying up for the Euro this time. Optimism increasing. Why is GA and SC dry? The NAM has a surface low tracking across the gulf earlier.

psuhoffman
HM has his map out already. How come I have to go elsewhere to get forecast maps? I could get a chimp to throw some paint on a map and it would be as valuable as his forecast maps, and please do not call Henry Margusity HM.
