Midweek Storm DISCO part II

Warm tongue of death has arrived here in Lenox. :gun_bandana::axe: 2.5" of new snow, but it is now beginning to transition to IP and ZR just as last night's 00Z NAM had it. Guess it's time to look toward the next storm. SWFEs often suck in these parts, unlike my old stomping grounds up in Plymouth, NH. Good luck to those further N and E.

And??? I'll recieve more snow, I started sooner so the duration of snow will be the same or longer here but that is beside the point. The crux of the issue is he was cheering for a change to zr which, while I pointed out was his perogative, I find bizarre.

He might get more snow than you out of this one (probably won't but maybe)

Are you the same met from Lenox who posted on EUS? Glad to have your take on the western scenarios even if they are on the other side of the hills.

Heavy snow.

This could be a pretty serious icing event!

Agreed, glad I was hitting it hard when people were asking me last night lol

Lol What are you guys basing this off of? There aren't even any reports of ZR yet.. wait til the sleet changes to ZR before you guys make that assumption

Yeah there are.
