hazwoper
Thunder - seems like the timing is spot on to me. That and total snowfall as well. The icing in PHL will not be bad.
ChescoWx
As of midnight 1.3" of snow and heavy snow now Temp 21.4 RH 93% DP 19.7 Wind NNE 4 gusts to 7mph
Thunder Road
Thunder - seems like the timing is spot on to me. That and total snowfall as well. The icing in PHL will not be bad. the NWS grids have me staying all snow until 4am. Granted, the mix line will probably slow as it moves north, but I don't see another 4 hours until it makes it to lower bucks.
famartin
wow this seems like a much earlier changeover than expected. already sleet moving in to philly with sfc temps in the 20s? yikes! i wonder if this is why Sterling went with the WSW for Baltimore... That wasn't unexpected. Its a bit early, but it was expected that it would still be in the 20s when it started to switch. PHL vis just show up to 2 1/2 so likely sleet mixing in now. ChescoWx
Sleet is relatively good for driving....ZR....now that is a problem Hopefully we can get some IP to accumulate on top of the snow and lessen the impact for AM rush, but either way it will be a mess out here in NW Chesco as I suspect we will still be in the 20s near daybreak wow this seems like a much earlier changeover than expected. already sleet moving in to philly with sfc temps in the 20s? yikes! i wonder if this is why Sterling went with the WSW for Baltimore...
