As God as my witness, there is absolutely zero virga with the incoming snow. I was watching the Dacula and Gwinnett County radar site, zoomed in and saw that the leading edge was about 5 miles south of me at routes 309 and 443. I grabbed a smoke and told my wife that it would probably be snowing by the time I finished the cigarette. I was right, and while it is quite light, the snow started almost immediately as the echos got over my location.

Looks like a line from KMTN over thru KMIV still reporting snow just before 10pm local

Automated stations still can't tell the difference between snow and sleet, so its probably actually sleet (especially given the visibility is 3 miles at MIV). Sometimes they'll report UP and sometimes they'll report SN when its actually PL.
