Sparky
I got at least 2 inches of snow before it changed to sleet/zr around 1am.
Sparky
We have dropped from 27.4 when I got up a couple hours ago to 26.0 here. We dodged a bullet with these temps -- if we had gotten heavier rain it would have been ugly with power outages, etc. I was in southern MD for the horrific 1994 ice storm, where THREE inches of glaze ice just destroyed trees and power lines, leaving some in the dark for two weeks. I don't want to see another one! I've never seen that thick of ice before. Even during 94 winter there was enough mixing with sleet/snow to keep the worst and most damaging effects to a minimum.
