Nice steady snow....no changeover yet...stinking dry patch sucked for an hour but this burst has covered the main roads pretty fast.

Prep for big flakes and heavy snow for a period when that band to your south moves through.. Should also shift to snow/sleet towards the tail end as it did here finally.

so i guess that high didn't move to the east as per the models

Back to heavy snow. 1.3" so far. Just got back from a jebwalk with the dog about 20 minutes ago. Took this pic with uber crappy cell phone camera. The lake to the left has been frozen for almost 7 weeks now. Ground is well covered, but we had some left over from the last 3" storm.
