PhineasC
Growing up in New Orleans, that's all we ever saw was huge flakes, because we were always on the fringe. I never knew they could be so small until I moved here in 2009. I guess everything is relative. Compared to New Orleans, this must feel like northern Maine. mitchnick
this reminds me of the 1/30/00 storm (Super Bowl night I think) whenever precip would come down heavy, it would switch back to snow, lighten up and turn to sleet and some zr back to mainly snow now
mattie g
Some of these temperatures in the not-so-far out suburbs are surprisingly low.. This could be get pretty pretty brutal overnight once the sleet transitions over to frz rain. I'm at 29 right now, but I'm slightly east of due south of Dulles.
