* PRECIPITATION TYPE...FREEZING RAIN

* ACCUMULATIONS...ICE ACCUMULATIONS RANGING FROM A TRACE TO A FEW HUNDREDTHS

OF AN INCH.

* TIMING...FREEZING RAIN IS OVERSPREADING THE AREA. AFTER A FEW

HOURS OF FREEZING RAIN THIS EVENING...PRECIPITATION WILL CHANGE

TO RAIN BY MIDNIGHT.

* TEMPERATURES...AROUND 30 DEGREES INLAND TO MID 30S ALONG THE

IMMEDIATE COAST THIS EVENING. TEMPERATURES WILL RISE INTO THE

That initial band through Frederick was quite heavy. Some snowflakes half dollar size and very dry (could blow off my car). Everything covered in my neighborhood.

Same here...surprising the flakes were not all that wet. Maybe we can stay snow for several hours.:popcorn:
