Marion_NC_WX
Just got home from a Basketball Game at AC Reynolds...crossed Old Fort Mountain and it began snowing/sleet about half-way down. Time I got to Old Fort city limits it was coming down moderately. 5 miles later in the Greenlee Community, the ground and US 70 is covered. I got a solid dusting here at my house, 33 degrees... Tullioz
The 04z RUC is showing an additional .1" to .15" of precipitation between now and 4am here along the NC/VA border and looking at radar that looks possible. I am guessing that I am closing in on .10" of ice on all elevated surfaces now with a temperature of 29.8. While .10 to .20 of an inch is not a damaging ice event, it is still significant and much more than expected.

FallsLake
Stormy with the intense low this morning in New Bern. The intensity must have brought down the lower dew points. I would have never guessed that I would be below freezing this morning.
