Great ice storm of Dec 2008. Awesome video of driving from Vernon NJ (elevation about 700 ft) up one road to Highland Lakes NJ (elevation about 1200 ft). The video is a bit fuzzy and the commentary makes you want to kill small animals for sport, but at least watch the first minute. Dry conditions for first 25 seconds then bam! The drive from the valley to the top is perhaps 1.5 miles long. This is my hometown, but didn't record the video (don't know the person that did either).
