moneypitmike
Just went outside. Despite the cool temps really felt comfortable with a sweater and fleece vest. Must be the increasing sun angle. So, let's see the score so far for the new runs we have SREF/NAM/MM5 warmer and qpf west vs. GFS/RGEM colder and qpf east. Is that about right? 12.4/-3. Quincy
What does OXC look like? 31 in my experience, if MAV MOS has 31 during an event like this, it won't make it to 31 degrees.

mahk_webstah
These fooking models.... Gahhhhhhh Ok, stepping back: - very very cold - copious moisture from west, sw and s all heading towards NE to arrive in less than 24 hours. That should be enough to calm me down. Quincy
Why no WSW love from BOX??? maybe they want to wait to see if Ice Storm warnings are necessary, although with a front end thump, they may end up opting for a WSW. tough to say.

weathafella
Whats that the St. Gothard Pass from Switzerland to Italy? I took a train down than way in the 90s..... But we used to drive through the Brenner Pass from Austria to Italy...nice times back in the 70s. I drove via Thusis and St Moritz....through Bolzano and Trento up in the mountains on the Italian side. Spectacular but I did it in late May/June...not sure it would be safe now. Friday's event is ON! Tomorrow I get an airport delay....probably until we go warmer. You guys inland should do quite well as will NNE all the way to the coast. amarshall
We'd better prepare for 1998 Montreal disaster lol That was in my college Montreal trip heydays. mahk_webstah
snow coming in while you are at the office. it will not be a pretty drive back to the hotel. You might have ice or you might have snow. NH does a great job clearing roads though. Just drive carefully, leave distance between you and the vehicle in front of you, lay off the brakes and you'll be good. Enjoy a NH style stahm.
