moneypitmike
Isn't he gonna be in Montego Bay or something? FWIW .5" more fell from LES ..so call it 1.7" for the whole mega clipper.. 6"+ about 35 miles north of here... Indeed I am. Unless they close PHL or BDL on Friday, I'm coming home that night. Of course, if BDL can get all iced in on Tuesday night....... Just shoveld out the generator "just in case" and fired it up. I'm ready. 25.8/

moneypitmike
I think there is something to be said for living out in Western Mass especially near pete's locale. I wonder what the total amount of winter days a year there are where there are flakes in the air compared with areas like ORH? Like today for example nice band into W. ma right now....sn- barely accumulating ....but enough to keep me happy. i just like seeing snow in the air.....(besides everyone enjoying watching it accumulate) but there is probably 15 days or so a year like this when east of 91 is sunny but west and elevated is cloudy with snow showeres/ flurries. Chris--are you out here today? You can pick up lots of traces on a lot of days, that's for sure. It had been snowing all morning. Now just occasional flakes, but more clouds moving in. cpickett79
ok not so many euro comments but 20 comments on the 6 and 12z nam. too bad we can't see the 6 hour increments Scott does the euro show significant icing for 495 corridor or does it have bL temps as well as 850's going over 0c by afternoon and most of the overnite ? for the bos-495 belt. i.e is this a 0c snowbomb? lol or an ice threat or a snow pack beat down. just wondering the breakdown for GC ORH greater bos area. dendrite
Euro may be all snow here. Tough to tell if there is a sneaky warm layer in there, but either way, it's mostly snow. 1"+ QPF too.
Damage In Tolland
This thing looks like it's gonna stay frozen for almost everyone..with room to trend even colder. I'd much prefer all snow over ice...but welcome ice as well

I saw that. It virtually would be all snow for you..maybe sneaky warm layer brings you a few pingers, but that's a net gainer for you.
