The_Global_Warmer
Looks like we are waiting for the GFS to see if the models are still a go.
Chicago WX
GFS pretty meh. But probably where you want it at this stage.
snowlover2
Might be trying to phase at hour 120?
cyclone77
GFS pretty meh. But probably where you want it at this stage. Hahaha, that's actually pretty true. Seems like when the GFS shows something decent in this time range everything goes to crap later on. Gotta love our scientific reasoning.
The_Global_Warmer
I have a feeling the GEM and Euro are going to be much more vigorous then the GFS.

Seems like when the GFS shows something decent in this time range everything goes to crap later on. Gotta love our scientific reasoning. Well there's probably a little model evidence/truth that the GFS is usually too cold/suppressed. So we have that going for us. But the good Dr. has been advertising some love for the past 2 or 3 runs. I'll side with it for now.
snowlover2
I have a feeling the GEM and Euro are going to be much more vigorous then the GFS. Wouldn't be surprized. GFS is trying to come around. Quicker phase would be nice.
The_Global_Warmer
The GEM has lost the storm for the most part.
Chicago WX
The GEM has lost the storm for the most part. Crushing high pressure FTL. Eh, GGEM is trash.
hawkeye_wx
GEM has also really backed off on the arctic air at the end of the week. The 00z GFS also isn't quite as cold here, although it's much colder than the GEM.
snowlover2
The GEM has lost the storm for the most part. Not really lost just suppressed. Disappointing to see but i'm guessing it will change into something better hopefully on the 12z run.

Chicago WX
12z GFS looks a little more amped up, mainly for IA, MO, S IL/IN, KY for this one.
cyclone77
Well, the GFS just jumped back on the bandwagon for several inches of snow for much of the Midwest. Iowa and Missouri pick up several inches per 12z GFS. Flip floppin' away!
The_Global_Warmer
12z GEM threw 96 hours is wetter by quite a bit over the 00z GEM.
The_Global_Warmer
GEM drops about .25-.30 qpf for the stl metro, gfs drops .35 for the stl metro that would be a decent 4-5 inch storm again.. hopefully we can get more amplification and a stronger wave. The_Global_Warmer
This is WAY WETTER then before. Infact this image here is telling: Yeah, yesterday we couldn't even get the .10 green to show up..now we have .25 in a decently wide area. which means multiple ensembles have a stronger storm.
