This morning's walk was the first time this fall that I can say there is "winter feel" in the air. High gray overcast and cold. 34/27

The dog and I got to hang out under a tree and have a good 5 minute stare down with a large barred owl. Nice start to the day!

Nice on the owl. I never see them (actually, we had a snowy owl in the area for a few weeks last winter).

Up to 31.5/25.

Peak wind of 4mph thus far. Batten down the hatches. lol

Is this the one at the big e today? We're toying around with the idea of going. If it is (and we go), we'll stop by and say hi.

His exhibit will be the one that looks like it was designed by Pablo Picasso with a geothermal system designed by Oppenheimer.

Really bounced back from last night's 22.3F low... 34.9F now... probably getting to 42-44F

meh

Tomorrow looks great.

Will it have the roof coming out of the side???

Just hit 32.0. Pond melt ftl.

The only bad thing about tomorrow is I'm going to be rounding up 50 turkeys for processing. At least one of them has my name on it.

I think we are going several degrees above point and click highs today.

Manchester, nh has a 46 high temp per point and click.......i see them getting at least 5 above that.

clearing skie's entering S NH.,,,and exteme n. mass per visible.

think most of SNE will see low 50's ...maybe a 55 throw in somewhere

What's your temp now? Up to 32.6 here. Some patchy blue just appearing.

What's the ETA of the colder air?

They will be coming in today to fix the heat, was going to relight the pilot light last night but my friends came over and I forgot. I was was and warm overnight though, slept with my sweatshirt, two pair of pajama bottoms, a pair of work pants, and two really think blankets. Pretty cold now though, only in the mid 50's in here.

yup long winter :blahblah:

THE 00Z

ECMWF APPEARED MUCH STRONGER THAN ANY OF ITS PREVIOUS THREE RUNS

WHICH WAS ALSO SEVERAL MB DEEPER THAN THE GLOBAL MEANS. SO ONLY A

SMALL PORTION OF THIS OPERATIONAL ECMWF WAS UTILIZED EARLY ON. BY

WED...THE 00Z ECMWF SEEMS TO BE ON THE SLOW AND STRONG END OF THE

ENVELOPE OF GUIDANCE HOLDING MUCH OF THE SHRTWV ENERGY BACK ACROSS

THE INTERMTN WEST. THE 00Z GFS/GEFS MEAN AND 12Z ECMWF ENS MEAN

ALL ARE IN GOOD AGREEMENT WITH THE GFS/ECMWF TIME-LAGGED AVG

PLOTS. THESE DEPICT THE TROF CROSSING INTO THE HIGH PLAINS BY

EARLY WED. AS THE 00Z GFS APPEARED TO BE IN DECENT AGREEMENT THRU

DAY 5...THU...WITH THE GLOBAL ENS MEANS...A SIGNIFICANT PORTION OF

THE MODEL BLEND WILL COMPRISE THIS PARTICULAR OPERATIONAL

GUIDANCE. THE ECMWF CONTINUES TO BE ON ITS OWN BEING SLOW AND

OVERDEVELOPED WITH THE CLOSED LOW POSITIONED ACRS THE MID MISS

VALLEY THU MORNING. IT ALSO SEEMS TO BE PLAGUED BY ISSUES

RESOLVING THE H5 FIELD ACRS THE WEST.

Hardly a suprise the GFS is now coming into line with the Euro.:(
