Anything that happens from here on out will only affect the very tail end of the cold season. We are seeing a classic potent Nina pattern trying to setup on the PAC side over the next couple weeks. My call for winter we will have torches and not temperature moderations. Im thinking regular snow pack destruction. However that is just a hunch. There is generally about a 3 month lag for ENSO affecting the pattern over N.A. So if you roll forward 3 months from now, we are already into February...meaning any changes in ENSO that occur from here on out would not really be felt in the pattern until after that time.
