Today's one of those occassional days where I get to sit right there with Savoy and Windsor temp-wise. Wish it held that way with snowfall, but I take what I can get. Looks like two consecutive days on big temp busts west of the Valley. Missed lower 50's by a decent margin.

44.1/43, drizzle. bleh.

Working next to the woodstove ftw.

Dense fog from start to finish here today. Then steady rain moved in a few hours ago. The temperature has been 45 since late morning.

Actually today reminded me of the week I spent in Stockholm in Nov. 2000. Nice city, but extreme gloom in November.

There is always a chance we might score a southwest flow overunning event out of that sometime over that Thanksgiving weekend. The models aren't keying in on a short wave that can do it yet, but the set-up is there.

That southwest flow could nail areas east of CLE, BUF and the Tug Hill, but won't throw any LES scraps my way most of the time. So we all need a synoptic event.

Mon-Fri torch t-giving week. Kevin can give a sermon on weenie denial. Cold pushed back more...SE ridge amped up more. Lake's cutters trending more.

Rope yup chair yup .......wait a little longer... yup.

LOL. Same extreme gloom here Rick. Locked in the murk all day. Fairly uniform temps with the high of 45 both here and at the site. Started in the pre-dawn light with some light rain. The balance of the day featured dense fog w/ occasional -rn. The light was so dim today it was bothersome. That and the deafening sound of the well driller on the site made for a rather nasty day. I can't wait for the ground to freeze the site is a muddy mess right now. Currently 44 and rn.

Socks in panic mode as Skier takes him to the woodshed in the ENSO debate. Does it really matter anymore? Superstrong NINA fail, move on.

Nina has already done 90% of its damage WRT winter pattern. Anything that happens from here on out will only affect the very tail end of the cold season.

We are seeing a classic potent Nina pattern trying to setup on the PAC side over the next couple weeks.

So that means we're going to see lots and lots of snow, right Will? Right?!!!!!
