Father-in-law asked me tonight when the next snow was. I told him a met in Dorchester told me that it'd snow on Thanksgiving. I didn't say it would be heavy heavy snow, though I know that is what was implied.

43.8F, had a few showers roll through the homefront today.

LOL, some random met in Dorchester.

Gonna turn the "zilch" () into an actual number next week? Guidance and board scuttlebutt indicates a strong possibility. It just bites that it's like 10 days out.

lol.......Yeah it looks like we have a couple chances in the next 10 days at some frozen up here, Would luv to actually get a number with a date to kick off winter 2010-2011, I think we will have a decent year up this way this winter........... :snowman:

Lucky it wasn't in a month of two, I would have had seizures.

At least you didn't have to read NZucker trying to cancel the SNE winter all day today.

He keeps leaving out all the analogs that hit Boston but screw NYC and also keeps saying how NNE might do okay but never mentions SNE. I think he is a bit married to his 35-39" BOS prediction.

Should be a fun time though over the next 2-3 weeks. I think we'll have some stuff to follow. The weather isn't going t listen to any of us or our reasonings, it will snow where it wants to snow.

I say BOS does slightly better...low to perhaps mid 40's.

Which Niña winters were lousy in NYC but good in Boston? Are you talking about 75-76 and 70-71?
