eyewall
Video of 2 inch per hour rates at the peak of the snow: First we had 5 inches of snow followed by freezing rain from 1/10 through 1/11 2011. This was an amazing event!

eyewall
Thank you guys and all of the events we have had are listed in my sig and yes definitely above normal! We are currently at 11.3 inches of snow on the season (5.9 fell all of last year as we were in a relative min then for the region). Since there is no official record for Southern Pines in terms of normals it is hard to say what the average snowfall is but I believe it is near 6 inches per year.
