Return to normalcy before all hell break's loose again

37 and light rain moving in. Thrilling. Melting the pack away. I wish we would get the chance to at least dry off the sidewalk and driveway, but we can't even get that much from this little torch.

It's fun to watch turkeys coming to my yard for a snack now since they prefer to run down the middle of the snowbound street like a gigantic roadrunner.

I get thoroughly annoyed by the Kevin/Scott dynamic.

I hate playing the middle ground but that's my nature.

Both sides have an argument and it's gotten old.

I need a drink.

I like all of you. I'm not in a clique here and haven't gone to a GTG. Everyone has good points at times, and everyone is wrong at times. Get this...every single person is like that. Once everyone understands such a thing and accepts it personally then they can move on with life. This is a great place, but I do see sometimes the dish it but can't take it mentality because of epic weather love. And sometimes just because someone wants to poke another person but others do not understand that and get upset because of it. If you really are friends, work it out. If you aren't, then maybe poke a bit less or talk out the issue so you can become better acquainted with the other individual's particular style of discussion and humor. Just my thoughts as a relatively detached observer who really does not get bothered by anything here ever.

And in general, I think a lively discussion is a good thing. Nothing much comes from "yes, I agree" and "your forecast is exactly mine". Some of the disagreements among mets here have been the most fascinating and informative threads.

Blowing snow FTW.

Hey bud...

I'll buy ya a beer on 1/29 at the GTG (wherever it is!), as long as old Mother Nature cooperates.

LOL, great. Lots of people cross country skiing and hiking. Prob 20-22" snowpack there. It was wonderful, winter rules.

"Brokeback" - LOL.

I remember when I lived in Stoughton, and would drive along whatever roads that go around Blue Hill. Can't think of the name of the one road, but at one point there was a sick view of the city. Really nice.

Regardless, I always remember seeing dudes parked along the side of the road, and other dudes going in and out of the woods. It was clearly a destination for guys to partake in acts that make me puke a bit in my mouth, just by the very thought of it.

. . . Anyway. Great day today sledding with the kids. Big snowshoeing tomorrow.

Chickatawbut road. I just took that today...lol. It goes from West Quincy to the base of Blue Hill on Rt 138. The road itself gets to 360' or so.

Hey just noted your PM. Yeah, they may have been caught by surprise down there. Models did hint at them getting into the good banding yesterday.
