Caught me off guard, didn't look great on radar, band must have been real shallow, but boy did it come down hard for a short period there. Actually had a cross country skier just scoot down my block. Forget nickle and diming, I'm pennying my way to a respectable snow total this winter.

Exactly what happened here yesterday. The smallest/tiny band that looked very sick on radar and yet it basically poured snow and respectable flakes to. Ended up with about 1.5 here from yesterdays stuff.

Too cold for my taste this morning as it managed to dip down to -11 here a couple of hours ago. May have gotten colder between obs but wont know for a little while. Coldest temp since Jan 2009 i do believe. Already back up to 3. :weight_lift:

Gonna need a blizzard of the century for that to happen. I'm (frankly, we're) overdo for one, so maybe the law of averages will work in your favor.

There was an article in the newspaper during emergency preparedness week in 2008 that told of a blizzard in the 1940s that buried houses in snow drifts here. :arrowhead:
