OSUmetstud
Messenger, they may have just made an error and forgot to add it to the updated PNS...or just left it out because it was older. They left out Logan in the updated one too. I'm not sure if it's because they believe it's too high.
H2Otown_WX
Everyone jackpots eventually. Kevin had never seen 20"+ of snow in like 38 years. That's an awful drought. This was the 5th time I've seen 20"+. Yeah I know what you mean..I'm young so I only have 10 years of records. Jackpotting is not an easy thing to do..especially in a storm of this magnitude. Congrats on your 22.5" btw. Your live shot was awesome too..I laughed when you got snow stuck in your throat..pulled a Mike Seidel.
ski MRG
How much do you have? Measured mid afternoon 26.25 but we've picked up a little since so call it 27.5". Anything above 1700' though is 30+". Quite tired as I snowshoed up Berkshire Snow Basin twice for some waist deep freshies then shot over to Berkshire East and rode the lifts for a while to rack up some vertical mileage. Came back here and dug us out. My buddy from AK just called from CAtamount where they are night skiing and poaching unlit powder stashes. When he's done he's driving here to crash for an early AM departure to MRG or possible MAgic. This is a time for celebration, snow is our elixir. Again Scott, I have to commend you on your forecasting prowess. You flagged the pivot and in the end it nailed us. 3-4" per hour this morning for a prolonged period really stacked it up. I'm high on life right now.
cpickett79
It did...I measured 18" and Woonsocket measured 17.5". It's still snowing here too. I thought 19.2" at 11am seemed a bit high. he's not talking about cumberlandt, RI measurement ...he's talking about N. attelboro.....although if it was at diamond hill (bit of upslope it is possible IMO)
Ginx snewx
I was just finishing the deck with Diamond Dust falling under a half moon sky when it occurred to me that the thousand and thousands of posts I made finally culminated in yet another long lasting memory. Getting up at 2 to heavy snow, outside shoveling until 3 , with TSSN+, seeing the great majority of posters here reaching the 1 2+ mark and beyond. A special day all around, thanks for sharing it with me. What a party eh? Sh it just looked at the radar, damn another quick band and does that Maine one have eyes for Raymond? But you understand what I'm saying, a few inch difference is thundersnow vs it just missing to the east of someone. Just not sure how they're making the cut. There were reports today of 24" right next to 17" that they accepted. Just seems like they're walking a fine line. I remember long ago when they wouldnt take reports without the W.E. H2Otown_WX
I think I did once in Nov of 2002 that was the only one in 15 years of measuring here. I am still quite happy with 17" What did you get in that? I got 9.5" that was a sweet early season storm.

They didn't include Logan in the new PNS either...and I'm pretty sure they didn't do that because it was in error.
